On the gauge symmetries of the spinning particle

by N. Kiriushcheva, S.V. Kuzmin, D.G.C. McKeon May 2, 2013 – 11 pages e-Print: arXiv:1305.0553 [hep-th] | PDF Abstract: We reconsider the gauge symmetries of the spinning particle by a direct examination of the Lagrangian using a systematic procedure based on the Noether identities. Advertisements

Comment on “Gauge Symmetries and Dirac Conjecture” by Y.-L. Wang, Z.-P. Li, K. Wang and some other counterexamples to the Dirac conjecture

by N. Kiriushcheva, P. G. Komorowski, and S. V. Kuzmin We argue that the conclusion about the invalidity of the Dirac conjecture, made in the paper by Wang, Li, and Wang (Int. J. Theor. Phys. 48 1894, 2009), was based … Continue reading

Remarks on “Note about Hamiltonian formalism of healthy extended Ho\v{r}ava-Lifshitz gravity” by J. Kluso\v{n}

by N. Kiriushcheva, P. G. Komorowski, and S. V. Kuzmin We reassess the conclusion by Kluso\v{n} (J. High Energy Phys. 1007 (2010) 038) that the Hamiltonian formulation of the healthy extended Ho\v{r}ava-Lifshitz gravity does not present any problem. Read it here.

‘Non-canonicity puzzle’ ?

Is there so-called ‘non-canonicity puzzle’ in General Relativity ? In our recent paper (arXiv:1108.6105) we show there is none. We argue that any modification of Dirac’s procedure for the constrained Hamiltonian with the aim to prove the legitimacy of non-covariant changes of … Continue reading
